Sprint Retrospective Meeting Minutes
Project: Learnr
Attendees: Rose, Amani, Tyler
Start time: 6:30
End time: 7:00
What went wrong?
- Did we do a good job estimating our team's velocity?
- We did not. The evolving capacities of team members were overestimated.
- Did we do a good job estimating the points (time required) for each user story?
- Yes, we assigned about 10 hours to each user story and were able to complete those we did within that time frame.
- Did each team member work as scheduled?
- Yes, each member worked the amount of time scheduled.
What went right?
- Our conversations with the Product Owner, narrowing down the scope, creating acceptance criterions.
We restructured our team dynamics to provide more support and guidance to one of the team members.
How to address the issues in the next sprint?
- How to improve the process?
- Have Tyler improve his debug and learning style. Would be good for him to reach out to the Team when issues arrive rather than waiting to be asked about the status of his work.
- How to improve the product?
- Be clear about the acceptance of a product, one of them being running code, and proof of updates throughout the code (including the database)
